Along with Steve Waldman and Howard Cohen, partners Todd Chanon, Scott Cohen, Martin Golman and Melody Peevy and Vice Presidents Andy Dropkin and Michael Waldman continue to make a real difference in people’s lives. Waldman Bros has enjoyed 70 years of service and success, due to a business built upon the firm’s professional reliability and its ability to provide financial confidence to our clients.
The beginning
In 1939, Bill Waldman became a life underwriter with State Mutual Life Assurance Company of America. Bill’s brother, Erwin, joined the firm 10 years later. In 1951, Waldman Bros Insurance Agency was formed.
Rapid growth
Waldman Bros doubled in size over the next decade. Howard Cohen joined the firm in 1970 with a focus on life, health, employee benefits and financial services. Steve Waldman joined the firm in 1973, developing areas of specialization in property and casualty coverages.
Superior service
The 80s and 90s brought significant growth and expansion. During this time, the firm focused on enhancing product knowledge and expanding expertise.
